Holiday apartment in the historical Hammerbrücke train station

The Hammerbrücke historical train station offers two suitably equipped holiday apartments (70m²/120m²), each on its own floor and with its own entrance. They can also be used in combination with a connecting door. During the summer months you can look out of the apartment at the WEX draisine, which stops right on the doorstep. You can feel like a station foreman on the platform. You can also see the floodlights at the ski jump in Klingental, which can be accessed in a few minutes conveniently by shuttle bus when there are events.

The outdoor area is not fenced or enclosed. Occasional WEX rides start and end on the doorstep. We can provide information about timetables. Next to the house there is a grill corner, as well as a caravan space.

This apartment measures around 120m² when using all the rooms. The upper floor comprises a living room, three bedrooms each with two beds, a fully-equipped kitchen (no dishwasher), a bathroom, a separate WC. It is possible to add a supplementary bed and a child’s bed to the large bedroom.

You can enjoy a relaxing holiday in nature. The location allows children to play undisturbed. In summer there are natural swimming lakes nearby, easy to get to by bicycle. High-quality bicycles and mountain bikes can be hired from professionals at a small additional charge. In Morgenröthe-Rautenkranz there is an aerospace exhibition, as well as a bell foundry. The visitors’ mine in Tannenbergsthal provides insights into the world underground. You can visit the Homeland Museum, the leisure pool, the Schöneck ski world and the brewery museum in Schöneck. Owing to the geographical and topographical location, air conditioning is not required. A shopping service is available to take the hassle out of arrival. We are also happy to help with any other queries.
