In the nearby and famous tourist resort of Tropea, you can swim in the crystal clear sea, visit the pilgrimage church of Santa Maria dell'Isola or taste the typical and spicy raw sausage 'Nduja' and other delicacies prepared with the local red onion. From Tropea you can also embark on an unforgettable trip to the Aeolian Islands. From the Capo Vaticano lighthouse (15 km) you can see the distant Aeolian Islands on clear days; Vibo Valentia (20 km) an ancient Greek colony, rich in religious and civilian architecture.
