Holiday on a farm with a view of the castle

The idyllic farm, a former restaurant, is near the Saale in the sleepy village of Tümpling right opposite Tümpling castle.

Holiday guests have exclusive use of a big terrace with grape vines under the two linden trees, with a bench, table, two folding chairs and garden lounger. Tree swings and children’s toys are also available. It is possible to grill on request. There are 1-2 guest parking spaces right in front of the holiday apartment. The site is completely fenced in. You can encounter four cats, nine hens and two small ponies in the garden. You can go on walks with our two ponies on the lead. Free eggs are available depending on the hens‘ mood.

The 34m² apartment on the ground floor with central heating is most comfortable for up to 4 people, but can accommodate up to six. It consists of a living room-kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. There is a large space for coats, shoes and pushchairs etc. in the house hallway. The kitchen-diner is equipped with a four-ring ceramic hob, extractor fan, oven, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment, pots and pans, condiments, crockery and cutlery, as well as a cosy dining corner with a table, two chairs, a three-seater corner bench, a radio with a CD deck. You can watch TV from a pull-out sofa bed for two people. The centerpiece of the bedroom is a rustic natural bunk bed (160 x 200cm) made of thick oak logs, which four adults can sleep in. Clothing can be stored in a cupboard, a dresser and a clothes rack. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet. Free Wi-Fi is available on request, as well as a travel cot, highchair and baby monitor (little radiation).

The apartment is in a very attractive tourist location, with many recreational activities nearby: hiking (castles, ruins, orchids, extensive beech forests), cycling (Saaler cycle path nearby), raft and canoe rides on the Saale, wellness (thermal and brine baths, climatic spa resorts), wine tastings, riding, cart rides, restaurant visits, the cultural-historical hubs Jena, Weimar, Naumburg with guided city tours (museums, theatres, planetarium, botanical gardens), or the cinema, summer concerts, swimming in outdoor pools and lakes, also in the river Saale at unknown riverside beaches, visits to Stone Age sites such as Nebra, Goseck, burial mounts, famous buildings along the Romantic Route (Naumburger Dom, Rudelsburg, Burg Saaleck), some of which are accessible by bicycle from the accommodation. Tümpling has a wonderful playground and sports ground. You can go inline skating on the nearby Saale cycle path, or enjoy tennis, golf, fishing, paragliding, hot air balloon rides etc. There are links and detailed information on our homepage (google “FeWo Camburg Zwei-Linden-Hof”), as well as our house rules (thank you).

    “Bezaubernd, symphatisch, kuschelig, naturverbunden :-)

    Eine entspannende, romantische, sonnige Ferienwohnung.
    Die coole Mischung aus rustikal und modern hat mir sehr gut gefallen!
    Das Bett ist der Hammer, das Bad sauber, die Küche rustikal funktional, nur das Sofa könnte aufgearbeitet werden.

    Die Gastgeber sind eine herzliche Bereicherung,
    die vielen kleinen und großen Tieren geben dem Aufenthalt das gewisse Etwas.
    Auch der Sitzplatz auf der Terasse erholt und bereichert herrlich.
    Der freche rote Kater findet das auch und räkelt sich dort gerne nachmittags.
    Alleine für diesen Platz würde ich wieder hinfahren!

    Tipp: der eine Hund bellt aus Blindheit, wenn man ihn einmal zum Streicheln zu fassen bekommt, vergeht er fast vor erleichterter Dankbarkeit und genießt es sehr.
