Modern holiday apartment with a conservatory and a south-facing balcony

The comfortably furnished holiday apartment enjoys a quiet location on the outskirts, only about 2km from the German-French border.

The conservatory leads directly onto the south-facing balcony on the garden side. It cannot be looked into and has garden furniture and a parasol. Please note that smoking is prohibited in the apartment, but permitted on the balcony, which also has an electric grill for use. Two cars can be parked on the open front courtyard of the building.

The living space of around 90m² has heating almost throughout and comprises a bedroom, a bathroom, a fully enclosed conservatory and a combined living and dining room with a kitchen and sleeping space of around 50m². Please note that the conservatory is not heated. A portable fan is provided in summer for pleasant ventilation. The combined room, which has underfloor heating, provides a generous sofa landscape that can be converted into a sofa bed for two people (160 x 270cm) and satellite TV. There is also a double bed 180cm wide. On the other side of the room there is a fully-equipped modern kitchen with a dining space. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (140cm wide) and has satellite TV. A travel cot (70 x 140cm) can be provided free of charge. The daylight bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin, hairdryer and toilet. The conservatory bathed in daylight has around 25m² of living space and a double bed 140 cm wide, along with a variety of seating. There are a washing machine and dryer in the cellar for shared use for a small fee of €3.00 per load.

Within 400 metres you can find a bakery, butcher, café, pharmacy, post office and general shop. It is ca. 2km to the nearest supermarket, either at the German-French border or in the neighbouring locality Freistett. The accommodation is about 300 metres from the edge of the forest and is therefore an ideal starting point for hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers. Your holiday region features idyllic waterfalls and many castles, inviting you to go on a journey into the past. Experience traditional crafts such as glass blowing or pottery. It is also worth going on a trip to Strasbourg, Baden-Baden, Gengenbach or Oberkirch. The leisure park about the building and residential history in Rheinau is to be recommended for families with children. Alternatively, you can go on a trip to the nearby leisure park.

    “Es war sauber und ordentlich, aber Bettwäsche und Handtücher rochen sehr stark nach Weichspüler. Uns war dieser Geruch zu stark. Im Bad fehlte ein Mülleimer für Hygienemüll. Außerdem befand sich im Bad Schimmel und eine Lampe war aus der Wand herausgerissen. Im Wohnbereich fehlte über der Herdplatte die Abzugshaube. Kabel und Löcher waren vorhanden. Abgebaut war ein Rauchmelder. Eine Wohnung für 8 Personen sollte mehr als nur einen Schrank mit 12 Bügeln, in den man Kleidung hängen kann, haben. An den Fenstern fehlten Fliegengitter, die in einer ländlichen Gegend vorhanden sein sollten. Die Treppe im Wohnbereich hatte kein Geländer und ist für Kinder oder Gehbehinderte gefährlich.
