Centrally located attic apartment with a terrace, just a few steps from the sea
The quietly situated holiday apartment is in the midst of Aci Castello and at the same time just a few steps from the beach. It provides the ideal conditions for combining a seaside holiday with a cultural programme.
The apartment is on the second and therefore top floor of a little residential house. It is a 35m² one-room apartment with sloped ceilings under the roof. It has a sleeping area with a double bed (180 x 200cm), and a living room with a cooking corner. The apartment also has a bathroom with a shower. A third person can sleep on a sofa bed (140 x 200cm) in the living room. Therefore the accommodation is suitable for a couple, perhaps with a child. The cooking corner is fully-equipped. A TV and air conditioning with a heating function are provided. Internet access is available on request via a portable modem.
There is a private roof terrace adjoining the living room, with a table and deckchairs. Free parking spaces are available on a public car park 50 metres away.
Supermarkets, restaurants, bars and everything you need are in the immediate vicinity. The nearest beach is less than 50 metres from the house, with rocks, while the nearest sandy beach is about 7km away. Aci Castello is a quiet town neighbouring Catania and has good connections to the train station and airport. The name refers to the Norman castle on the main square. It affords a wonderful panoramic view as far as Siracusa and Calabria. The popular Aci Trezza district with its lovely beach is only two kilometres away, so you can walk there easily. In Italy, the former fishing village is well-known because of Verga’s family novel “I Malavoglia” and now has many bars and a vibrant nightlife.
